James Frances Parker, 92, of Avenue, MD, transitioned from this life into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Family and friends will unite on Friday, March 10, 2023 for visitation at 11 am until time of service at 12 noon at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 7 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the Parker family asks that donations be made for funeral expenses, it should be made directly to Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home via certified check, cash, credit card or money order. No personal checks will be accepted.
Sending my deepest condolences to the family. Mr. Jimmy was a great neighbor and friend to the late Molly Butler and her family. Mr. Jimmy loved the outdoors and was always seen outside doing something in the yard, or out in the shed or cleaning up his car. We will miss seeing him on Sugar Hole Road. Jimmy will surely be missed. He was our “eyes and ears” in St. Mary’s County. He always looked after our property when we could not be there. We will always be grateful for his caring and help. When we were there, he would stop by for a chat and to see what kind of repairs might be going on that he could help with. Deepest sympathy to the rest of his family.
